TERMS OF REFERENCE:
1. Acquisition of land by way of negotiated purchase shall be resorted to by the requiring Department
only in cases where immediate availability of the land is required for the Government project, and
proceeding under the land acquisition Act in force would cause delay to hamper the execution of
the Government project.
2. After obtaining the approval of the competent authority of the requiring Department for acquisition
of land, the requiring Department shall submit the proposal to proceed for negotiated purchase of
land to the Government in the Department of Land Revenue & Settlement Department, stating the
purpose, preferred location and other characteristics of the land required.

Re-constitute the Performance Monitoring Committee of Tourist Facilities
In supersession of this Department’s Notification
No.D.21018/68/2020-TOUR dt.07.06.2021 and in the interest of public service the Governor of Mizoram
is pleased to re-constitute the Performance Monitoring Committee of Tourist Facilities with the following
composition with immediate effect and until further orders:
Chairman : Minister, Tourism Department.
Vice Chairman : Secretary, Tourism Department.
Member Secretary : Director, Tourism Department.
Members : 1) Additional Secretary, Tourism Department.
2) Joint Secretary, Tourism Department.
3) Deputy Secretary, Tourism Department.

Allowances shall be admissible to Judicial Officers of the State of Mizoram
In partial modification of Notification vide even
number dated 3rd April, 2024, and in compliance of the Order dated 19.05.2023 passed by the Hon’ble
Supreme Court in WP(C) No. 643/2015 with subsequent order dated 04.01.2024 and as per acceptance
of the recommendations of the Second National Judicial Pay Commission by the Supreme Court, the
Governor of Mizoram is pleased to order that the following allowances shall be admissible to Judicial
Officers of the State of Mizoram as below:
A. House Building Advance: House Building Advance(HBA) shall be available to Judicial Officers
in terms of House Building Advance Rules, 2017 for purchase of ready built house (including from
private individuals) subject to such safeguards as may be prescribed by the State Government in
consultation with the authority of the High Court.
B. City Compensatory Allowance: Since CCA is not applicable in the State of Mizoram, therefore
the Special Compensatory Allowance (remote locality) allowance as entitled to the State
Government employees shall be admissible to Judicial Officers.
C. Children Education Allowance:
(i) Rs 2,250 per month as CEA and Rs 6,750 per month as hostel subsidy for two children up to
class 12.
(ii) For children with special need, the reimbursement would be at double the rates stated at (i) above.
(iii) When the DA increases by 50%, the allowance and subsidy shall increase by 25%.
The effective dtae for grant of Children Education Allowanc e shall be w.e.f the Academic
Year 2019-20.
D. Concurrent Charge Allowance:
(i) The concurrent charge allowance shall be paid subject to a maximum of 10% of the minimum
of the scale of the additional post held beyond a period of ten working days.
(ii) High Court to decide the concurrent charge allowance to be available to the officer within
the ceiling of 10% on the basis of the number of days worked, the quantum of judicial work
turned out and the administrative work handled.
