In continuation of this Commission’s
Notification No.B.12011/1/2022-SEC/VC/176-177 dt. 04.01.2024 and in exercise of the powers conferred
under sub-section (7) of Section 3 of the Lushai Hills District (Village Councils) (Amendment) Act 2014
read with sub-rule (1) of Rule 3 and Rule 37 and Sub-rule (1)(b) of Rule 63 of the Mizoram (Election to
Village Councils) Rules, 2014, the State Election Commission, Mizoram hereby orders re-poll and
counting of votes for By-Election to fill up casual vacancy for Bekabekya (Lianbuang) Village Council
due to an unavoidable circumstance as follows:-
1 Date of Re-Poll 31st January, 2024
2 Counting of Votes (Counting of votes shall commence as soon as 31st January, 2024
possible after the close of the poll)
The District Election Officer, Mamit District shall appoint the hours during which poll shall
be taken as per provisio to Sub-rule (2)(a) of Rule 63 of the Mizoram (Election to Village Councils)
Rules, 2014.

WHEREAS, pursuant to
Notification No.B.12011/l/2023-SEC/VC/LADC/CADC/28 , dated: 04.01.2024 issued by the State
Election Commission under sub-section (7) of Section 3 of the Chakma Autonomous District Council
(Village Councils) Act, 2002 as amended, By-Election to 3 (three) Village Councils was held on 30th
January, 2024 (Tuesday) for the purpose of filling up of 3 (three) Casual Vacancies under Chakma
Autonomous District Council; and
AND WHEREAS, the result of the elections in respect of the 3 (three) Village Councils under
Chakma Autonomous District Council has been declared by the Returning Officers concerned; and
NOW, THEREFORE, as provided under Rule 35 of the Chakma Autonomous District Council
(Election to Village Councils) Rules, 2007 as amended, the State Election Commission hereby notify the
names of the members elected in respect of the said 3 (three) Village Councils under Chakma Autonomous
District Council along with their party affiliations, in the SCHEDULE enclosed to this Notification.

WHEREAS, pursuant to Notification
No.B.14015/1/2023-SEC/LC/41, dated: 04.01.2024 issued by State Election Commission, Mizoram under
Rule 3 & 37 of the Mizoram Municipalities (Election to Local Councils) Rules, 2015 read with rule 17
(2) of the Mizoram Municipalities Ward Committee and Local Council Rules, 2010, By-Election to IV/
1-Ramhlun South and XIII/1-Dawrpui Vengthar Local Councils, 2024 was held on 30 th January, 2024
(Tuesday) for the purpose of filling up of 7 (seven) Seats of Ramhlun South Local Council and 1 (one)
General Seat of Dawrpui Vengthar Local Council within Aizawl Municipality;
AND WHEREAS, the result of the elections in respect of the 2 (two) Local Councils within
Aizawl Municipality has been declared by the Returning Officers concerned; and
NOW, THEREFORE, in pursuance of sub-section (3) of Rule 77 of the Mizoram Municipalities
(Election to Local Councils) Rules, 2015, the State Election Commission, Mizoram hereby notifies
the names of the members elected in respect of Ramhlun South and Dawrpui Vengthar Local Councils,
along with their party affiliations, in the SCHEDULE enclosed to this Notification.

WHEREAS, pursuant to
Notification No.B.12024/3/2023–SEC/VC/MADC/51-52, dt. 04.01.2024 issued by the State Election
Commission, Mizoram under sub-rule (1) of Rule 3 and Rule 37 of the Mara Autonomous District
Council (Election to Village Councils) Rules, 2014, By-Election to 1-Thiahra and 46-New Saikao
Village Councils was held on 30th January, 2024 for the purpose of filling up of vacancies of seats within
the said Village Councils;
WHEREAS, the results of the elections in respect of said Village Councils under Mara Autonomous
District Council has been declared by the Returning Officers concerned; and
NOW, THEREFORE, as provided under sub-rule (3) of Rule 77 of the Mara Autonomous
