(d)Director, Urban Development & Poverty Alleviation Department or his representative;

(f)Assistant Commissioner of Taxes, Taxation Department or his representative;
(g)Superintending Engineer, Public Works Department or his representative;
(h)Settlement Officer/Asst. S ettlement Officer, Land Revenue & Settlement Department or his
representative;
(i)District Local Administration Officer or his representative;
(j)District Agriculture Officer or his representative;
(k)District Officer, Land Resources, Soil & Water Conservation Department or his representative;
(1)District Research Officer, Economics & Statistics Department or his representative;
(m)President, Federation of Mizoram Chamber of Commerce & Industries or his representative;
(n)President, Sub-Hqrs. YMA or his representative.
(o)Any other two persons nominated by the District Valuation Committee.
(2)The term of members specified in items (1), (m) (n) and (o) in paragraph 1 above shall be for a
period of two years.
( 3)The Sub-Registrar of the District Headquarters shall be the Member Secretary of the District
Valuation Committee and shall be responsible for looking after the day to day administration and

method of recruitment to the post(s) ofEntomologistunder Health & Family Welfare Department,
Government of Mizoram namely :-
1.Short title and(1) These rules may be called the Mizoram Health & Family Welfare
commencement.-Department (Group ‘A’ post) Recruitment Rules, 2020
(2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the
Official Gazette.
2.Application.-These rules shall apply to the post(s) specified in Column I of the
Schedule annexed to these rules.
3.Number of posts,The number of the said post(s), classification and level in the pay
classification and level inmatrix or pay scale attached thereto shall be as specified in Column
the pay matrix or pay scale.- 2 to 4 of the said Schedule.
4.Method of recruitment,The method of recruitment, age limit, qualifications and other
age limit and othermatters relating to the said post shall be as specified in Column 5
qualifications.-to 13 of the said Schedule.
5.Disqualification.-No person –
(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person
having a spouse living; or
(b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a
marriage with any person,
shall be eligible for appointment to the said post(s); VOL - XLIX Aizawl, Wednesday 11.11.2020 Kart ika 20, S.E. 1942, Issue No. 674
Provided that the State Government may, if satisfied that such
marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such
person and to the other party to the marriage and that there are
other valid grounds for doing so, exempt any such person from the
operation of this rule.
6.Training andEvery officials recruited under these rules shall undergo such
Departmentaltraining or pass such Departmental Examination as may be prescribed
Examination.-from time to time.
7.Power to transfer.-Notwithstanding anything contained in these rules, the State Governmen t,
in public interest, shall have the right and power to transfer any
officials, so recruited under these rules to any other post or position
which is equivalent in rank or grade.
8.Power to relax.-Where the State Government is of the opinion that it is necessary
or expedient so to do, it may, by order and for reasons to be recorded
in writing, in consultation with the Mizoram Public Service Commission
through the Department of Personnel & Administrative Reforms,
relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class
or category of persons.
9.Saving.-Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age
limit and other concessions required to be provided for the Scheduled
Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, the Ex-servicemen and other special
categories of persons in accordance with the order issued by the
Government of Mizoram from time to time in this regard.

Oct, 2019 issued under Sub-Section (1) of Section 11 had
already lapsed for taking further action under the Mizoram (Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and
Resettlement) Act, 2016 for possession of land by the requiring department and that land specified in the
Schedule shown below is likely to be needed for public purpose, viz for Construction of Zyhno – Mawhre
– Chapi (ZMC) road within Siaha District, by the BRTF under the Ministry of Defence, Government of
India, for maintenance of national security along the Indo-Myanmar international border;
And whereas the Deputy Commissioner Siaha had requested to extend the Preliminary Notification
for ZMC road as the process of declaration of Acquisition got delayed due to
Covid – 19 lockdown measures and some more time is required to identify the resettlement area.
Now, therefore the Government hereby notifies under second proviso to Sub Section (7) of
Section -19 of the Act that the validity of Preliminary Notification for ZMC road has been extended for
further6 months i.e till16th
April, 2021 for further effect.
