Be it enacted by Parliament in the Sixty-third Year of the Republic of India as follows:— CHAPTER I P RELIMINAR Y 1. (1)This Act may be called the Finance Act, 2012. 2. Save as otherwise provided in this Act, sections 2 to 118 shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of April, 2012. CHAPTER II R ATES OF INCOME -T AX 2. (1) Subject to the provisions of sub-sections (2) and (3), for the assessment year commencing on the 1st day of April, 2012, income-tax shall be char ged at the rates specified in Part I of the First Schedule and such tax shall be increased by a surcharge, for purposes of the Union, calculated in each case in the manner provided therrein. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of India there may be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate [inclusive of the sums specified in column 3 of the Schedule to the Appropriation (Vote on Account) Act, 2012] to the sum of fifty-four lakh seventy-seven thousand nine hundred and ninety-sixcrore and forty-five lakh rupees towards defraying the several charges which will come incourse of payment during the financial year 2012-2013 in respect of the services specified incolumn 2 of the Schedule. 3. The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Consolidated Fund of India by this Act shall be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the said year . 4. BE it enacted by Parliament in the Sixty-third Year of the Republic of India as follows:— 1. This Act may be called the Indian Medical Council (Amendment) Act, 2012. 2. 2. 2. 2. 2. From and out of the Consolidation Fund of India there may be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate [inclusive of the sums specified in column 3 of the Schedule to the Appropriation (Railways) 16 of 2012. Vote on Account Act, 2012] to the sum of two lakh forty-two thousand seventy-six crore, twelve lakh and eighty-six thousand rupees towards defrayingthe several charges which will come in course of payment during the financial year 2012- 13, in respect of the services relating to Railways specified in column 2 of the Schedule 3. 3. 3. 3. 3. BE it enacted by Parliament in the Sixty-third Year of the Republic of India as follows:— 1. This Act may be called the Appropriation Act, 2012. 2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of India, the sums specified in column 3 of the Schedule, amounting in the aggregate to the sum of twelve thousand six hundred fifty-two crore, twenty-four lakh, thirty-two thousand seven hundred twenty-two rupees shall be deemedto have been authorised to be paid and applied to meet the amounts spent for defraying thecharges in respect of the services specified in column 2 of the Schedule during the financialyear ended on the 31st day of March, 2010 in excess of the amounts granted for thoseservices and for that year . 3. BE it enacted by Parliament in the Sixty-third Year of the Republic of India as follows:— 1. This Act may be called the Appropriation Act, 2012. 2.From and out of the Consolidation Fund of India there may be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column 3 of the Schedule amounting in the aggregate to the sum of four lakh thirty thousand two hundred twenty-eight crores and sixty-four lakh rupeestowards defraying the several charges which will come in course of payment during the financialyear 201 1-12, in respect of the services specified in column 2 of the Schedule. 3.
