Guards Department (Group ‘D’ posts) Recruitment Rules, 2008 notified in the Mizoram Gazette
extraordinary issue number 45 dated 27.02.2008, except as respects things done or omitted to be done
before such supersession, the Governor of Mizoram hereby makes the following rules regulating the
method of recruitment to the posts of Guardman, Quarter Guard Home Guard and Bandman under
Home Department, Government of Mizoram namely :-

Government and sitting allowance @ Rs. 1,000 per sitting while performing duties in connection
with High Powered Committee, Lunglei.
iii. The tenure of all Non-Official members shall be three years.
iv. The State Government reserves to itself the power of reconstitution of the membership of the
Committee any time it thinks fit.
