The Government of Mizoram Regularisation of Contract Employees (Amendment) Scheme, 2024
In the interest of public service
and in exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the Governor of
Mizoram is pleased to make the following scheme further to amend The Government of Mizoram
Regularisation of Contract Employees Scheme, 2008 (hereinafter referred to as the Principal Scheme)
notified vide No.A.11019/5/2008-P&AR (ARW)/51, dt. 10.10.2008 and published in the Mizoram Gazette
Extraordinary Issue No. 424 dt. 23.10.2008, as follows, namely: -
1. Short title and (1) This Scheme may be called the Government of Mizoram Regularisation
commencement.- of Contract Employees (Amendment) Scheme, 2024.
(2) This scheme shall come into force from the date of publication in the
Official Gazette.
2. Amendment of sub- In the principal scheme, in para 5 entries under sub-para (1) shall be
para (1) of para (5).- substituted, namely;
“(1) While considering for regular appointment, the age of a contract
employee may be condoned by the Government in the respective
Department if the employee at the time of initial engagement was not
already over aged.”
