WHEREAS, the Mizoram Subordinate
Service Selection Board (MSSSB) has been dissolved with effect from the 29th day of February, 2024
vide Notification No. A-11013/1/2021-P&AR(GSW) dated 8th February, 2024, published in the Mizoram
Gazette Extraordinary Issue No. 89 of 2024 dated 8th February, 2024;
AND WHEREAS, the Board was previously consulted for recommendations for recruitment to
various Group ‘B’ (non-gazetted) posts under the Government of Mizoram in the following cases:
a) appointment by direct recruitment
b) appointment by promotion,
c) appointment by promotion through limited departmental examination
d) appointment by absorption
e) appointment by regularisation within the direct recruitment quota;
AND WHEREAS, the Mizoram Public Service Commission was designated to assume the pre-
MSSSB Establishment functions after the 29th day of February, 2024;
AND WHEREAS, in consonance with the Government’s objective of ensuring a seamless transition
and obviating any potential disruption, it is considered expedient to provide interim arrangements for
conducting recruitment during the period before the Mizoram Public Service Commission assumes full
responsibility:
NOW, THEREFORE, in the interest of public service, the Competent Authority is pleased to
direct, with immediate effect and until further order that:
Recruitment to various posts under the Government of Mizoram in respect of Group ‘B’ (Non-
Gazetted), except for direct recruitment and Limited Departmental Examination, shall be conducted by
the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) constituted by the Government vide Notification No.
No.A-32012/1/2011-P&AR(GSW) Aizawl, the 7th July, 2020. The composition of the DPC as per the
said notification is reproduced hereunder for clarity:

On fulfillment of criteria issued by DP
& AR (GSW) vide Office Memorandum No.A.47012/1/2016 P & AR(GSW) date 17-1-2017 regarding
deed for change of name etc. it is hereby notified that the name of Lalchhandama, Group “D” (P.E)
posted at Mizoram House, Silchar is changed to Dadam Gangmei with immediate effect. Henceforth,
the name appearing as Lalchhandama in the engagement card, Seniority list of Provisional Employees
issued by DP & AR (ARW) Office Memorandum No.A.11019/6/2014 - P & AR (ARW)/80-88 date 23-
2-2017 should be read as Dadam Gangmei.
