It is hereby notified that certain modification are made to the provisions of the Mizoram Journalist Welfar e Society Rules, 2010 in line with the decis ions taken in the meeting of the Mizoram Journalist Welfare Society Governing Board Committee held on 7th May, 2013 at 10:30 AM duly approved by the General Body of the Society on 14.05.2013. The First two words “one time” under clause 7.2(d) stand deleted thus r eading “Lump sum financial assistance not exceeding to Rs. 50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousa nd) only shall be given to a dependant members suffering from critical illness as defined by the Mizoram State Health Care Scheme, 2010-2012”. All the other sections and clauses under the Mizoram Journalist Welfare Society Rules, 2010 remain unchanged. C. In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Mizoram after consultation with the Mizoram Public Service Commission is pleased to make the following Rules fur ther to amend the Mizoram Police Department (Group ‘B’ post) Recruitment Rules, 2004 (hereinafter referred to as the Principal Rules) relating to recruitment to the post of Forensic Science Assistant (now re-designated as Junior Scientific Officer) Notified vide No. A. 12018/46/2004-P&AR(GSW)/Vol/Pt dt. 28.2.2005 and published in the Mizoram Gazette Extraordinary Issue No. 36 dt. 1.3.2005, namely :- 1.Short title and1. (1)These Rules may be called the Mizor am Police Department (Group Commencement‘B’ Posts) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2013. The Government of Mizoram has learnt with deep sorrow the sad and untimely demise of Pu Lalthlamuana, Treasury Officer, Kolasib, Junior Grade of Mizoram Finance & Accounts Service, on 17th May, 2013 at 9:00 AM at Kolasib Civil Ho spital, Kolasib. Pu Lalthlamuana s/o Pu RK Ringhmasaa, born on 2.6.1966 entered into Government Service on 8.10.1990 as LDC under Secretariat Administration Department. He was appointed as Asst. Treasury Accountant w.e.f 27.3.1997 and then entered into Mizoram Finance & Accounts Service on 15.11.2010 and posted as Treasury Officer, Kolasib Treasury w.e.f 15.11.2010 t ill he breathed his last. He served the Government of Mizoram with utmost sincerity and devotion to duty proving himself an efficient officer. The Government of Mizoram, Finance Department deeply mourns his death and place on record its appreciation of the sincere service rendered by Pu Lalthlamuana and conveys its heartfelt sympathy and condolence to his bereaved family. Whereas it appears to the appropriate Government (Hereinafter referred t o as the Government of Mizoram) that the land specified in the schedule there-to (hereinaft er refer red to as the “ said la nd”) is likely to be needed for public purpose viz., Acquisition of land for construction of Helipad at Tumpui, Kola sib. 2.Now, therefore, the Government hereby notifies under sub-section (i) of section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (Central Act of 1894) hereinafter referred to as the said Act that the said la nd is likely to b e needed for the purpose specified ab ove. 3.Any person interested in any land being notified may submit his/her objection to the acquisition in writing to the Deputy Commissioner/Collector, Kolasib District, within a period of 30 days from the date of publication of this Notification in the Mizoram Gazette, who will dispose of the objection and claims as per provision of section 5-A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894. 4.All persons interested in the said land are hereby warned not to obstruct or interfere with any Surveyor or other persons employed upon the sa id land for the purpose of the said acquisition.
