Consequent upon the adoption of the

In pursuance of decision no. 3 of the meeting of the Council of Ministers held on 3rd October, 2024 vide Memo No.J.11011/1/2024-POL/Vol-l dated 03.10.2024 and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (4) of Section 21 of the Protection of Human Rights Act, 1993, the Governor of Mizoram hereby constitutes a body
to be known as the Mizoram State Human Rights Commission to exercise powers conferred upon, and to
perform the functions assigned to a State Commission under Chapter V of the said Act. The headquarter of the Mizoram State Human Rights Commission shall be at Aizawl.

In supercession of this Department’s
Notification even No. dt. 24.01.2020, the Governor of Mizoram is pleased to constitute the Committee
on “Inter Village Boundary Disputes” comprising of the following members for Aizawl, Lunglei, Champhai, Mamit, Serchhip, Kolasib, Khawzawl, Saitual and Hnahthial Districts respectively to examine the boundary disputes between Village/Village Councils within their respective Districts as shown below with immediate effect and until further order.

Whereas by the Government's Notification No. K.12011/48/2013-REV dt.12.01.2024 published in the official Gazette, it was notified under Section 11 (1) of The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (hereinafter referred to as the “said Act”) that the land specified in the schedule appended to the said Notification was likely to be needed for the purpose namely – construction of 0 - 40 KM Tipa-Laki-Lope-Lopu (TLLL) Road by the BRTF under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, for maintenance of national security along the Indo-Myanmar International Border.
2. Now, therefore, the Government declares that declaration under Section 19 (1) of the said Act is issued that the said land is required for the public purpose specified above and as per the schedule indicated below.
3. The Government now appoints the Deputy Commissioner/District Collector, Siaha District under Section 2 of the said Act to perform the functions of a Collector for all proceedings hereinafter to be taken in respect of the said land and directs him/her under Section 2 of the said Act to take order for the acquisition of the said land.
4. The Collector shall there upon cause the land to be measured and make a plan of the same under Section 20 of the said Act if not already done as per Section 12 of the said Act. Then, the Collector shall submit a Draft Award to the Government of Mizoram after fulfilling the provisions under Section 27 of the said Act.
5. A plan of the same can be inspected at the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Siaha District till the final award is made under Section 27 of the said Act.

In pursuance of the minutes of the meeting on construction of Working Women Hostel under Part -X of SASCI held at Chief Minister’s Conference Hall on 23rd September, 2024 vide No B-13016/5/2024-PLG(RDB)/SASCI 2024 - ‘25 Dt. 24.9.2024.
