In supersession of this Department’s Notification of even No. dt.08.08.2024 and in pursuance of NGT Order dt.09.05.2024 passed in O.A. No. 159/2021(SZ) and LA. No. 47 & 48 of 2024 (SZ) in the matter of Kankana Das, Kolakata-Vs-Union of India, through Secretary, MoEF&CC and ors. and in accordance with the common Guidelines for formulation of State Action Plan for clean air framed by Central Pollution Control Board and concurred by MoEF&CC (copies enclosed), the Governor of Mizoram is pleased to constitute Air Quality Monitoring Committee, Mizoram for implementation of State Action Plan to improve air quality and aim to achieve the desired air quality for the State of Mizoram in consonance with National targets consisting of the following members with immediate effect and until further orders:-

Pi K. Lalremruati to act as interim Chairperson of Mizoram State Commission for Women
Consequent upon the resignation of
Pi C. Lalchhandami Chairperson, Mizoram State Commission for Women, the Governor of Mizoram is pleased to order that Pi K. Lalremruati, D/o K. Riachho Dawrpui Vengthar, Aizawl will act as interim Chairperson of Mizoram State Commission for Women as provided by sub-rule (iv) of Rule 5 of the Mizoram State Commission for Women Rules 2008, as a stop gap arrangement till a regular Chairperson is appointed.
