Pi C. Lalchhandami Chairperson, Mizoram State Commission for Women, the Governor of Mizoram is pleased to order that Pi K. Lalremruati, D/o K. Riachho Dawrpui Vengthar, Aizawl will act as interim Chairperson of Mizoram State Commission for Women as provided by sub-rule (iv) of Rule 5 of the Mizoram State Commission for Women Rules 2008, as a stop gap arrangement till a regular Chairperson is appointed.

Scheme for granting incentive to teachers conferred with National/State Teachers Meritorious Award

The Government of Mizoram has been considering granting of service extension to teachers conferred with National /State Award as incentive based on merit of each individual case for quite a while. Taking into account their outstanding contribution and with a view to get optimum utilization of their excellent services, the Competent Authority is pleased to introduce the following scheme to teachers conferred with National and State Teachers Meritorious Award.

Bifurcation of Champhai Vengsang VC to be kept in abeyance

Government Notification issued vide No.B.14016/46/2015-LAD/VC/Pt. Dt. 28.8.2024 regarding bifurcation of Champhai Vengsang Village Council in Champhai District by creating a new Village Council namely, Vengsang PHE Village Council, Champhai to be functional from the next General Election to Village Councils, 2025 is hereby kept in abeyance until further orders.
This is issued with the approval of Hon’ble Minister, LAD on 19.9.2024.
