In continuation of this Depart-ment’s Notification No. D.33012/1/2022-HFW (FSSAI) dated 29th June, 2022 and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-regulation 2.1.15 of the Food Safety & Standard (Licensing and Registration of Food Businesses) Regulation, 2011, the Governor of Mizoram is pleased to order the inclusion of the under mentioned members in the District Level Advisory Committee in respect of Lunglei District for effective implementation of the Food Safety and Standard Act, 2016 with immediate effect and until further orders. The Mizoram Urban Area Building (Amendment) Regulations, 2024
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 77 of the Mizoram Urban & Regional Development Act, 1990, the Government of Mizoram, hereby makes the following regulations to amend the Mizoram Urban Area Building Regulations, 2024, namely: -
1. Short title and Commencement.-
i) These regulations may be called The Mizoram Urban Area Building (Amendment) Regulations, 2024.

Result of General Election to Sinlung Hills Council, 2024
WHEREAS, pursuant to Notification
No.B.12015/1/2024-SEC/SHC/21 issued by the State Election Commission on 3rd October, 2024 under sub-rule (1) of Rule 3 read with sub-rule (1) & (2) of Rule 36 of the Mizoram (Election to Sinlung Hills Council) Rules, 2019, General Election to Sinlung Hills Council, 2024 was held for the purpose of constituting the Second Sinlung Hills Council on 5th November, 2024; and
WHEREAS, the results of the elections in respect of the 12 (twelve) Constituencies under Sinlung Hills Council in the said General Election has been declared by the Returning Officers concerned; and
NOW, THEREFORE, as provided under sub-rule (3) of Rule 77 of the Mizoram (Election to Sinlung Hills Council) Rules, 2019, the State Election Commission hereby notifies the names of the members elected in respect of the said 12 (twelve) Constituencies of Sinlung Hills Council, along with their party affiliations, in the SCHEDULE enclosed to this Notification.

Appointment of Pu Mangajam Touthang, IIS (Rtd) as State Information Commission
In the interest of public service and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of Section 15 of the Right to Information Act, 2005 (Act No. 22 of 2005), the Governor of Mizoram is pleased to appoint Pu Mangjangam Touthang, IIS (Rtd.) as State Information Commissioner in the Mizoram State Information Commission with effect from the date on which he enters upon his office.
The term of office, salary, allowances and other terms and conditions of service will be in accordance with 'The Right to Information (Term of Office, Salaries, Allowances and Other Terms and Conditions of Service of Chief Information Commissioner, Information Commissioners in the Central Information Commission, State Chief Information Commissioner and State Information Commissioners in the State Information Commission) Rules, 2019.'
The appointment is made against the sanctioned post of the Mizoram State Information Commissioner created vide Notification No. F. 13011/7/2005 - IPR dt. 21/06/2006.

Notification of a new ration package- Mizoram State Special Ration Package (MSSRP)
In the interest of the public service, the Competent Authority is pleased to notify a new ration package namely the ‘Mizoram State Special Ration Package (MSSRP)’ to cater economically weaker sections of the community; but left out from the NFSA scheme due to limits of allocation fixed by the Government of India and are not financially sound and satisfy the eligibility criteria of NFSA scheme of the State of Mizoram with immediate effect.
1. The concerned DCSO will get the verification from the concerned Local/Village Council of the applicant.
2. The concerned DCSO will be the competent authority to include/exclude the applicant under MSSRP.
3. Rice will be distributed at 8.00 (eight) kilograms per head.
4. The rate of rice under MSSRP will be Rs. 20/- (rupees twenty) per kg. which may be revisable from time to time.
5. As and when there is availability of NFSA quota in the respective area, beneficiaries under MSSRP of that area will be moved/converted to NFSA.
6. The number of beneficiaries to be covered under MSSRP in the State - 25,000 (twenty-five thousand) families or 1,00,000 (one lakh) persons which may be revisable from time to time.
7. It will not be mandatory to fill up the MSSRP quota at once. It will be an ongoing process until the ceiling is capped.
