Whereas the State Government considered it expedient to bifurcate the existing office of Settlement Officer, Aizawl District into Office of the Settlement Officer Aizawl South and Office of the Settlement Officer, Aizawl North in view of the heavy workload and the resultant delays in disposal of cases.
Whereas approval of the State Government in GAD was obtained vide I.D.No.GAD:12/2024 Dt. 28.06.2024 for bifurcation of the office of the Settlement Officer, Aizawl District into two Offices, viz. Aizawl South and Aizawl North.
Now therefore, the State Government hereby orders:
(a) Bifurcation of the Office of Settlement Officer, Aizawl District and subsequent establishment of the Office of Settlement Officer, Aizawl South and Settlement Officer, Aizawl North w.e.f 1st August, 2024 or posting of Officer and staff for the new Settlement Office whichever is earlier.
(b) The existing office of Settlement Officer, Aizawl District will be renamed as Settlement Officer, Aizawl South.
(c) Separation of Land Records between the two offices including thereof the records maintained in Directorate of Land Revenue & Settlement shall be completed within 2 months.
(d) The offices shall become full functional with effect from 1st October, 2024.
(e) The Revenue Villages and the Revenue Circles under Aizawl South and Aizawl North will be as per the list indicated below:

In compliance of the minutes of the meeting of Working Committee on Ruihhlo Do dt.05.07.2024 and in the interest of public service, the Governor of Mizoram is pleased to constitute District Level Task Force on Ruihhlo Do with immediate effect and until further order.
The composition of the District Level Task Force on Ruihhlo Do and its terms of reference are given in Annexure I & II respectively

In compliance of the minutes of the meeting of Working Committee on Ruihhlo Do dt.05.07.2024 and in the interest of public service, the Governor of Mizoram is pleased to constitute Village/Local Level Task Force on Ruihhlo Do.
The Village/Local Level Task Force on Ruihhlo Do shall be established in each village under the initiative of their respective Deputy Commissioner comprising of the following members:
1. Members of Local Council/Village Council.
2. Members of elected NGO/Community based Organisations.
3. Representatives from all the Denominations of Local Churches.
4. Representative from MHIP/MCHP in Siaha District /LWA in Lawngtlai District.
5. Representative from MUP.
The Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Member Secretary shall be elected by the respective Village/Local level Task Force and may also appoint additional member if considered necessary.
The terms of reference of the Village/Local level Task Force are given in Annexure.

In the interest of public service, the Governor of Mizoram is pleased to constitute State Selection Committee, for meritorious and outstanding teachers for National Award to Teachers, 2024 consisting of the following officers as follows:-

After having observed the prescribed formalities, the name of Vantluangpuii Vanchhawng, UDC under Directorate of Health Services recorded in her service book and other official documents as Vantluangpuii Vanchhawng is hereby changed to Vantluangpuii with immediate effect. Henceforth, she shall be known as Vantluangpuii and her name written as such in her service records, all her official documents and correspondence, and necessary entries shall be made in her Service Book/Record.

As per DP&AR(GSW) Memorandum under Memo No.A.47012/1/2016 - P&AR (GSW) dt. 17.01.2017, the name of R. Lalhruaitluanga s/o
R. Lalhmingliana, now serving as Group ‘D’ under the Directorate of Health Services, Aizawl, is hereby allowed to change his name as Lalhruaitluanga.
Henceforth, he shall be known as Lalhruaitluanga and his name shall be written as such in his service records and all other official documents.

WHEREAS an area of 49.58 Ha of Roadside Reserve Forest land has been utilized for non-forest purpose for the construction of NH- 306/06 Package VI, (Vairengte – Sairang) and the area so diverted has to be compensated from non-forest land within the State of Mizoram as provided under the Forest (Conservation) Act,1980.
Now, therefore, the Government of Mizoram is pleased to allot an area of 49.58 Ha of land to Environment, Forests & Climate Change Department, Government of Mizoram, as specified in the Site Plan (attached herein) in lieu of diversion of forest land for construction of NH- 306/06 package VI within Roadside Reserve Forest area with immediate effect.

In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 26-A and Section 350 of the Mizoram Municipalities Act, 2007 as amended read with Rule 31 and Rule 50 of the Mizoram Municipalities (Election of Councillors) Rules, 2007 as amended, the State Election Commission, Mizoram hereby publishes the Schedule for By-Election to Ward No. VI of Aizawl Municipal Corporation, 2024 as follows:-

Whereas, upon the expiry of the Memorandum of Agreement signed between the Government of India and the states of Manipur and Mizoram on 22/7/2024, the Government of Mizoram has constituted a State Electricity Regulatory Commission named “Mizoram Electricity Regulatory Commission” as per the Power & Electricity Department, Government of Mizoram Notification No. A.11019/1/2023-P&E dated 19.07.2024.
And whereas, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 181 of the Electricity Act, 2003, the Mizoram Electricity Regulatory Commission hereby adopts the Regulations issued by the Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission (JERC), effective from 23.07.2024, until new regulations are framed by the Mizoram Electricity Regulatory Commission.
