State Tax No. 14/2024
In exercise of the powers conferred by the first proviso to section 44 of the Mizoram Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (6 of 2017), the Governor of Mizoram, on the recommendations of the Council, hereby exempts the registered person whose aggregate turnover in the financial year 2023-24 is up to two crore rupees, from filing annual return for the said financial year.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 52 of the Mizoram Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (6 of 2017), the Governor of Mizoram, on the recommendations of the Council, hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of Mizoram, Taxation Department No. 52/2018-State Tax, dated the 4th October, 2018 issued vide file number No.J.21011/1/2018-TAX/Pt, namely:-
In the said notification, for the words “half per cent.”, the figure and word “0.25 per cent.” shall be substituted.
2. This notification shall come into force from the date of its publication in official gazette
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 52 of the Mizoram Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (6 of 2017), the Governor of Mizoram, on the recommendations of the Council, hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of Mizoram, Taxation Department No. 52/2018-State Tax, dated the 4th October, 2018 issued vide file number No.J.21011/1/2018-TAX/Pt, namely:-

Following the execution of deed for change of name as per OM No.A.47012/1/2016-P&AR(GSW) dated 17.01.2017, Develi Hlychho, Upper Division Clerk (UDC) under Rural Development Department is hereby allowed to change her name to Diveli Hlychho. Henceforth, she shall be known as Diveli Hlychho and her name shall be written as such in all service records and official documents from the date of publication in the Mizoram Gazette.

Amendment of the ACB Manual, 2012
WHEREAS the three landmark Bills relating to the criminal justice system namely the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 and the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023 were passed by the Parliament in December, 2023.
AND WHEREAS these three Criminal Laws is effective from 1st July, 2024.
AND THEREFORE, in the interest of the public service and to bring the Anti-Corruption Bureau, Manual, 2012 (herein after referred to as the principal manual) in consonance with the new Criminal Laws, the Governor of Mizoram is pleased to amend the ACB Manual, 2012 as follows:
1. Amendment of paragraph 7.2.-
In paragraph 7.2 of the principal manual, for the words “IPC” the words, figures and symbol “Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023” shall be substituted.
2. Amendment of paragraph 7.4.-
i. In paragraph 7.4(c) of the principal manual, for the words, figures and symbols “Sections 379 to 382, 406 to 409, 411 to 414, 417 to 420, 465, 466, 468, 471, 477 and 477A of the Indian Penal Code” the words, figures and symbols “303(2) to 307, 316(2) to 316(5), 317(2) to 317(5), 318(2) to 318(4), 336(2), 337, 336(3), 340(2), 343 and 344 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023” shall be substituted.
ii. In paragraph 7.4(h) of the principal manual, for the words, figures and symbols “the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974)” the words, figures and symbol “Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023” shall be substituted.

4. That I expressly authorize and request all persons at all times hereafter to designate and address me such assumed name of Miranda Lalmuanthangi accordingly.

BY THIS DEED I the undersigned Miranda Lalmuanthangi, aged about 51 years, d/o Remlalnghaka, a bona fide citizen of India by birth, permanent resident of H/No. VH-CA/I, Venghnuai. Aizawl. Mizoram, do hereby solemnly affirm and state as follows:-
1. That I, Miranda Lalmuanthangi d/o Remlalnghaka formerly known as Lalmuanthangi changes my name to Miranda Lalmuanthangi d/o Remlalnghaka with the consent of Magistrate, Aizawl, Mizoram
2. That I wholly renounce, relinquish and abandon the use of my former name Lalmuanthangi and in place thereof, do assume from the date hereof the name of Miranda Lalmuanthangi and so that I may hereafter be called, known and distinguished not by my former name of Lalmuanthangi but my assume name of Miranda Lalmuanthangi.
3. That for the purpose of evidencing such my determination I declare that I shall at all times hereafter in all records, deeds and writings and in all proceedings. dealings and transactions of private as well as public and upon all occasions whatsoever use and sign the name of Miranda Lalmuanthangi as my name in place of and in substitute for my former name of Lalmuanthangi.
4. That I expressly authorize and request all persons at all times hereafter to designate and address me such assumed name of Miranda Lalmuanthangi accordingly.
