Construction of Food Corporation of India (FCI), Godown at Sairang
WHEREAS an area of 3.1 56 Ha (10,000 MT capacity) within Riverine Reserve Forest of river Tlawng has been utilized for non-forest purpose of construction of Food Corporation of India (FCI), Godown at Sairang and the area so diverted has to be compensated from non-forest land within the State of Mizoram as provided under the Forest (Conservation) Act,1980.
Now, therefore, the Government of Mizoram is pleased to allot an area of 31562.937 Sq.m of land located at Thifahnuk kawi ram, Tlungvel to Environment, Forests & Climate Change Department, Government of Mizoram as specified in the Site Plan (attached herein) in lieu of diversion of forest land for construction of FCI Godown, Sairang within Riverine Reserve Forest area with immediate effect.

Lalthanzuala Ralte, Mission Vengthlang as Secretary, Mizoram State Project Monitoring Committee (MSPMC) in lieu of Er.Vanlalruata Sailo with immediate effect and until further orders.
Upon his appointment as Secretary, Er.Lalthanzuala Ralte shall enjoy the rank and status of Secretary, Government of Mizoram and shall receive a salary of Re 1/ - (One Rupee only) per month.
