WHEREAS an area of 3.1 56 Ha (10,000 MT capacity) within Riverine Reserve Forest of river Tlawng has been utilized for non-forest purpose of construction of Food Corporation of India (FCI), Godown at Sairang and the area so diverted has to be compensated from non-forest land within the State of Mizoram as provided under the Forest (Conservation) Act,1980.
Now, therefore, the Government of Mizoram is pleased to allot an area of 31562.937 Sq.m of land located at Thifahnuk kawi ram, Tlungvel to Environment, Forests & Climate Change Department, Government of Mizoram as specified in the Site Plan (attached herein) in lieu of diversion of forest land for construction of FCI Godown, Sairang within Riverine Reserve Forest area with immediate effect.

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution and in supersession of the Mizoram Printing & Stationery Department (Group ‘B’ Gazetted post) Recruitment Rules, 2013 notified in the Mizoram Gazette extraordinary issue number 557 dated 18.10.2013, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Governor of Mizoram hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the post of Technical Officer under Printing & Stationery Department, Government of Mizoram namely :-

In supersession of this Department’s Notification No.B.12011/l/2021-AH&V dated 13.09.2021 and as per Regulations 43 of Veterinary Council of India - Standard Professional Conduct, Etiquette and Code of Ethics Regulation, 1992, framed under sub-section (1) of Section 31 read with Section 66 of India Veterinary Council Act, 1984, the Governor of Mizoram is pleased to constitute a Disciplinary Committee for the State of Mizoram with the following members with effect from the date of publication in the official Gazette and until expiry of the present term of Mizoram State Veterinary Council or a fresh Council is elected, whichever is earlier:

2. Review the progress of the project in their respective State
3. Oversight of the fund utilization
4. Approval of proposals relating to the project
5. Policy directions and guidance for successful execution of the project in the State and ensure tenure/term till the completion of the development phase of the project
6. Create a supportive environment for the success of the project
7. Co-opt members of the existing State Apex Committee, if
required
8. Committee should meet to review the progress on a quarterly basis

In supersession of this Department’s notification of even no. dt. 6th January, 2021 and in exercise of power conferred under section 54 of Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection of Children) Act, 2015 and Rule 41 of the Mizoram Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection of Children) Rules, 2019, the Governor of Mizoram is pleased to reconstitute the State Inspection Committee for improvement and development of Child Care Institutions for a period of 2 (two) years with immediate effect.

Terms of reference:
1. The State Inspection Committee shall carry out inspections of the Child Care Institutions as defined under sub section (21) of section 2 of the Act housing children in the state in Form 46.
2. The State Inspection Committee shall carry out random inspections of the Institutions housing children to determine whether such institution is housing children in need of care and protection.
3. The State Inspection Committee shall submit report to the Secretary of the Department implementing the Act.
4. The State Inspection Committee shall make recommendations for improvement and development of the Institutions in accordance with the provisions of the Act and rules made thereunder and shall forward the same to the State Child Protection Society or the District Child Protection unit for appropriate action.
5. The State Inspection Committee shall interact with the children during visits to the institution to determine their well-being and get their feedback.
6. The Committee, shall have tenure of two years from the date of issue of this Notification and the tenure of Chairperson and Members shall be co-terminus with the tenure of the committee.

In the interest of Public Services and in supersession of this Department’s Notification of even No. dated 22nd January,2024, the Governor of Mizoram is pleased to appoint Er. Lalthanzuala Ralte, Mission Vengthlang as Secretary, Mizoram State Project Monitoring Committee (MSPMC) in lieu of Er.Vanlalruata Sailo with immediate effect and until further orders.
Upon his appointment as Secretary, Er.Lalthanzuala Ralte shall enjoy the rank and status of Secretary, Government of Mizoram and shall receive a salary of Re 1/ - (One Rupee only) per month.
Salary and allowance and all other expenditures shall be borne by Planning & Programme Implementation Department.

“Promotion: From officers holding the post of Additional Superintendent of Police (Ministerial) with 5 years of regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis or from Additional Superintendent of Police (Ministerial) with not less than 20 years of regular service calculated from the date of entry into the post of Sub-Inspector of Police (Ministerial) may be read as
“Promotion: From officers holding the post of Additional Superintendent of Police (Ministerial) with 5 years of regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis; or
