Result for General Election of Village Councils under Lai Autonomous District Council
WHEREAS, in pursuance of this Commission’s Notification of even number, dated: 11th June, 2024 under the provision of sub-rule (5) of Rule 3 of the Lai Autonomous District Council (Election to Village Councils) Rules , 2011 as amended read with sub-section (6) of section 3 of the Lai Autonomous District Council (Village Councils) Act, 2010 as amended and in pursuance of Notification issued by Lai Autonomous District Council vide No. V.11012/2/2019-LADC/LAD, dt.23.04.2024 under sub-rule 4 of Rule 3, Chapter-II of the Lai Autonomous District Council (Election to Village Councils) Rules, 2011 as amended, General Election was held for the purpose of constituting 98 (ninety eight) Village Councils under Lai Autonomous District Council on 27th June, 2024; and
WHEREAS, the results of the elections in respect of 98 (ninety eight) Village Councils under Lai Autonomous District Council in the said General Elections have been declared by the Returning Officers concerned; and
NOW, THEREFORE, as provided under Rule 32 of the Lai Autonomous District Council (Election to Village Councils) Rules, 2011 as amended, the State Election Commission hereby notifies the names of the members elected in respect of the said 98 (ninety eight) Village Councils under Lai Autonomous District Council along with their party affiliations, in the SCHEDULE enclosed to this Notification.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 37 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the Government of Mizoram is pleased to notify that: -
1. The police control room of the Mizoram Police Headquarters is declared as the police control room for Mizoram.
2. The police control room located at the District Headquarters of every Police District are declared as police control for district concerned.
3. The Superintendent of Police of every Police District shall designate a police officer, not below the rank of Assistant Sub-Inspector, as In-charge of the Police Control Room located at the District Headquarters.
4. The Superintendent of Police of every Police District shall also designate a police officer not below the rank of Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police, for every police station within his jurisdiction for the purpose of this section.
5. The designated police officers at the police stations shall be responsible for maintaining information about the names and addresses of the persons arrested and the case for which he/she has been arrested on a daily basis. The said information will be displayed at the Police Station prominently by modes which may include electronic mode.
6. The designated police officer of every police station shall make available the information maintained by him as above to the police control room located at the district Headquarters on a daily basis.
7. The police officer designated for the police control room located at the District Headquarters shall be responsible for maintaining information about the names and addresses of the persons arrested in the district and the cases for which they have been arrested and the said information shall also be displayed prominently at the District Headquarters by modes which may include electronic mode.

Mizoram Stamp (Payment of Duty by means of e-Stamping) Rules, 2024
In exercise of the powers conferred under sections 10, 74 and 75 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (Act No. 2 of 1899), the Governor of Mizoram is pleased to make the following rules, namely :-
CHAPTER – I
PRELIMINARY
1. Short title, commencement and application.-
(1) These rules may be called the “Mizoram Stamp (Payment of Duty by means of e-Stamping) Rules, 2024”;
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette;
(3) These rules shall be applicable only to the method of payment of stamp duty by means of electronically generated impression on paper to denote the payment of stamp duty.
(4) An endorsement so made under these rules through e-Stamping shall have the same effect as if the duty of an amount equal to the amount stated in the endorsement has been paid in respect thereof and such payment has been indicated on such instrument by means of stamps in accordance with the requirement of sub-section (2) of section 10 of the Act.
2. Definitions.-
(1) In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires :-
(a) “Act” means the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (2 of 1899);
(b) “Agreement” means the Agreement executed under rule 6;
(c) “Appointing Authority” means the Inspector General of Registration appointed under sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Registration Act, 1908 (16 of 1908) and includes the Chief Controlling Revenue Authority under the Act.;
(d) “Authorized Collection Centre” means an agent appointed by the Central Record Keeping Agency, with prior approval of the Chief Controlling Revenue Authority to act as an intermediary between the Central Record Keeping Agency and the stamp duty payer for collection of stamp duty and for issuing e-Stamp certificates;

4. That as a result, all my foreign documents and my children's documents also show Lalnunzira
as the surname.
5. That my correct surname is Ralte, and my given name is Tony Lalnunzira.
6. That "Ralte" is my family surname, and I make this affidavit to formally declare that my surname is Ralte and to request that all records and future documents reflect my name as Tony Lalnunzira Ralte in accordance with this declaration.
