“ORDER
In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 174 of the Constitution of India, I, Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati, Governor of Mizoram, hereby summon the Ninth Legislative Assembly of the State of Mizoram to meet for its Third Session on 20th August, 2024 onwards at 10:30 A.M. in the Legislative Assembly House at Aizawl.

In exercise of powers conferred under Section 50 read with Clause (x) of Sub-section (2) of Section 181 of the Electricity Act, 2003 (36 of 2003), and all other powers enabling it in this behalf and in superseding the Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission for Manipur & Mizoram (Electricity Supply Code) (Eighteenth Amendments) Regulations, 2024 notified on the 24th May, 2024, the Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission for Manipur & Mizoram hereby makes the following regulations to amend the Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission for Manipur & Mizoram (Electricity Supply Code) Regulations, 2013 (herein referred to as “Principal Regulations”), namely;
1. Short title and commencement:-
1) This Regulation may be called the Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission for Manipur & Mizoram (Electricity Supply Code) (Eighteenth Amendments) Regulation, 2024.
2) This Regulation shall extend to the whole States of Manipur & Mizoram and shall apply in relation to all matters falling within the jurisdiction of the Commission.
3) This Regulation shall come into force from the date of their notification in the Official Gazette of the concerned States.
2. Amendments in Regulation 4 of the Principal Regulations:-
(a) Clause 4.29 of the Principal Regulations shall be substituted by the following:
‘4.29 The licensee shall, at the time of receipt of application form, stipulate a date for inspection of applicant’s premises in mutual consultation with the applicant’ under written acknowledgement. The date of inspection must be scheduled within 2 working days in Class-I cities and urban areas, 5 working days in rural areas and 10 working days in remote areas from the date of receipt of application form.’
(b) Clause 4.33 of the Principal Regulations shall be substituted by the following:
‘4.33 The applicant shall get all the defects removed/ rectified within 2 working days for Class I cities and urban areas,3 working days in rural areas and 5 working days in remote areas from receipt of intimation of defects as specified in clause 4.32 of this Code and inform the licensee in writing under acknowledgement. In case the applicant fails to remove such defects or fails to inform the licensee about removal of the defects within the above stipulated period, the application form shall

WHEREAS Smt. Maya Chhetri, Cook under Mizoram House, Shillong, General Administration Department has submitted an application requesting to change her name from Maya Chhetri to Maya Chettri by signing a Deed in the presence of 2 (two) witness on 01.07.2024.
AND WHEREAS Government of Mizoram DP&AR(GSW) issued Office Memorandum vide No.A.47012/1/2016-P&AR(GSW) dt.17.01.2017 simplifying the procedure of changing the name by empowering the Appointing Authority to issue an order to be followed by publication of the change of name of government servant in a prominent local newspaper as well as in the Mizoram Gazette at the government employee’s own expense.
NOW THEREFORE, I, the undersigned, do hereby allows Maya Chhetri to change her name from Maya Chhetri to Maya Chettri and she shall henceforth be known by the name of Maya Chettri for all purposes from the date of publication in the prominent local newspaper as well as in the Mizoram Gazette.

WHEREAS, pursuant to Notification No.B.12024/3/2023-SEC/VC/MADC, dt. 12.06.2024 issued by the State Election Commission, Mizoram under sub-rule (1) of Rule 3 and Rule 37 of the Mara Autonomous District Council (Election to Village Councils) Rules, 2014, By-Election to 25-New Siaha East-II, 91-Lopu-II and 94-College Vaih-III Village Councils was held on 9th July, 2024 for the purpose of filling up of vacancies of seats within the said Village Councils;
