(TC), Lunglei Division, Irrigation & Water Resources Department on the3rd April 2019.Pu Lalzawnga s/o Pakunga (L), Chhiahtlang was a Diploma holder in Civil Engineering.He entered into Govt. Service as Junior Engineer on 19.1.1989 in Agriculture Department. Hewas Promoted to the post of S.D.O. on 13.9.2005 under Minor Irrigation Department. He wasposted to the Office of Chief Engineer on 18.9.2007, and posted to Lunglei Sub-Division on17.7.2009, and posted again to Lunglei Division on October 2015. He held the post till he breathedhis last. He served the Govt. of Mizoram with utmost sincerity and devotion to duty and endearedhimself to the Officers and Staff and always proved himself as conscientious and hard workingofficer.The Govt. of Mizoram places on record its appreciation of the sincere services renderedby Pu Lalzawnga and conveys its heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family.MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PEACEEr. C/50ANNEXURE - ITerms, conditions and duties of the State Board for Wildlife Mizoram shall be as follows :-1.The Board shall meet at least twice a year at such place as the State Government may direct.2.The Board shall regulate its own procedure (including the quorum).3.No act or proceeding of the Board shall be invalid merely by reasons of the existence of anyvacancy therein or any defect in the constitution thereof or any irregularity in the procedure of theBoard not affecting the merits of the case.4.It shall be duty of the State Board for Wildlife to advise the State Government-(a)In the selection and management of areas to be declared as protected areas;(b)In formulation of the policy for protection and conservation of the wildlife and specifiedplants;(c)In any matter relating to the amendment of any schedule;[(CC) in relation to the measures to be taken for harmonizing the needs of the tribalsand other dwellers of the forest with the protection and conservation of Wildlife; and](d)In any other matter connected with the protection of Wildlife which may be referred toit by the State Government.The non-official members of the Board are entitled to DA/TA at the rate admissible to Grade-Iofficer for performance of the above duties.The duration of the term of the Board will be 3 (three) years with effect from the date of issue ofthis notification.Ex-266/20193
