(1) The National Commission for Backward Classes Act, 1993is hereby repealed and the National Commission for Backward Classesconstituted under sub-section (1) of section 3 of the said Act shall standdissolved.(2) The repeal of the National Commission for Backward ClassesAct, 1993 shall however, not affect,-(i) the previous operation of the Act so repealed or any-thing duly done or suffered thereunder; or(ii) any right, privilege, obligation or liability acquired,accrued or incurred under the Act so repealed; or(iii) any penalty, confiscation or punishment incurred, inrespect of any contravention under in under the Act so repealed; or(iv) any proceeding or remedy in respect of any such right,privilege, obligation, liability, penalty, confiscation or punishmentas aforesaid, and any such proceeding or remedy may be insti-tuted, continued or enforced, and any such penalty, confiscation orpunishment may be imposed or made as if that Act had not beenrepealed.(3) The mention of the particular matters referred to in sub-section(2) shall not be held to prejudice or affect the general application of sec-tion 6 of the General Clauses Act, 1897 with regard to the effect of repeal.Short title andcommencement27 of 1993.Repeal andsavings.27 of 1993.10 of 1897.The Integrated Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Act, 2018’ (Act No. 32 of 2018

After section 9 of the principal Act, the following sections shallbe inserted, namely :-“9A. Notwithstanding anything contained in section 9, the input tax crediton account of Union territory tax shall be utilised towards payment of inte-grated tax or Union territory tax, as the case may be, only after the inputtax credit available on account of integrated tax has first been utilised to-wards such payment.9B. Hmingtinthanga, Headmaster, Govt. Middle School, Laisawralon 27.12.2018 (Thursday) at 2:35 A.M.Born on 7.3.1966, Pu V. Hmingtinthanga was appointed as Teacher, Deficit MiddleSchool, Tongkolong on 1.8.1989. He served in that capacity till the school was provincializedon 1.1.1994. He continued to serve there till he was promoted to Headmaster on 10.1.1999 andfrom there, he was transferred to Govt. Middle School, Laisawral on 19.9.2018 where heserved till his last breath.He served the Government of Mizoram with utmost sincerity and devotion to duty andendeared himself to all his colleagues. He always proved himself to be a conscientious officer.The Government of Mizoram places on record its deep appreciation of the sincereservices rendered by Pu V. Hmingtinthanga and conveys its heartfelt sympathy to the bereavedfamily.C.
