Wher eas the identification of posts which can be reserved for persons with disabilities was last notified by the Government vide OM No.A.14011/1/97-P&AR(GSW) dated 24.10.2007 and published in the Mizoram Gazette Extra Ordinary Issue No. 288 dated 24.10.2007. Wher eas the Government informed a ll Administrative Depa rtments to review and update the lis t of posts which can be identified for reservation for persons with disabilit ies in Group ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’ and ‘D’ posts under their a dministrative control including posts in State Public Sector Undertakings, Municipalities, Societies, etc run with substantial Government funding vide letter No.A.12027/1/2011-P&AR(GSW) dated 15.09.2014. Whereas severa l Depa rtments submitted their r evised list of posts which can be identified for reservation for persons with disabilities in Group ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’ and ‘D’ posts and whereas the Government cons idered the revised list of posts in minute detail. Now, therefore, the list of posts identified for reser vation for persons with disa bilities is hereby revised and updated for the following thr ee types of disabilities as mandated under section 32(b) of the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995 and it shall come into force with immediate effect: 1)Identified posts for reservation for locomotor disability or cerebral palsy(Annexure-I) 2)Identified posts for r eservation for hear ing impairment(Annexure-II) 3)Identified posts for reservation for visual impairment(Annexure-III) This supercedes theidentification of posts for persons with disabilities is sued vide OM No.A.14011/ 1/97-P&AR(GSW) dated 24.10.2007 and published in the Mizoram Gazette Extra Ordinary Issue No. 288 dated 24.10.2007.VOL - XLVI Aizawl, Monday 15.5.2017 Vaisakha 25, S.E. 1939, Issue No. 204 - 2 - Ex-204/2017 Note 1: The list of posts identified for reservation for persons with disabilities is not an exhaustive list and Depa rtments may fur ther submit additional list of posts that can be identified for reservation for persons with disabilities Note 2: If a post is already held by a person with dis ability, it shall be deemed to have been identified for reservation for persons with disability Note 3: If a post in the feeder grade is identified, t he post in the promotional gra de shall stand identified. Note 4: Persons with disa bilities require some aids and assistive devices to overcome their disabilities. The aids and assistive devices may be provided to persons with disabilities on t heir appointment, keeping in view their requirement. Note 5: The eligibility criteria as prescribed in the r espective Recruitment Rules should duly be fulfilled for recr uitment in the posts identified for r eservation for persons with disabilities Note 6: The identification of p osts for reser vation for persons with disa bilities is made irrespective of whether there are adequate vacant sanct ioned posts for computation of the 3% reser vation for persons with disabilities V. In exercise of the power s conferr ed by the proviso to article 309 of the Constit ution of India , the Governor of Mizoram is pleased to make the following r ules to amend the Mizoram Pla nning & Progra mme Implementa tion Department (Science & Technology) (Group ‘A’ posts) Recruitment Rules, 2016 (hereinafter referred to as t he Principal Rules) notified vide No.A. 12018/59/2015-P&AR(GSW) dated 27.01.2016 and published in the Mizoram Gazette Extra Ordinary Vol-XLV Issue No. 17 dated 02.02.2016 relating to recruitment to the post ofScientific Officer namely: - 1.Shor t title a nd (1) These rules may be ca lled the Mizoram Planning & Progr amme Implementa tion commencementDepartment (Science & Technology) (Group ‘A’ posts) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2017. (2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette 2.Amendment ofIn Annexure-I of the Principal Rules, entr ies in Column 11 and 12 in respect Annexure-Iof the post of Scientific Officer shall be substituted by the following, namely:- Column 11: By Direct recruitment or by Deputation or by Absorption Column 12: DEPUTATION 1) From officers holding analogous post(s) on regular basis in the Mizoram Science, Technology & Innovation Council/Mizoram Remote Sensing Application Centre under Directorate of Science & Technology, OR 2) From Officers holding analogous post(s) under Central / State Government 3) The period of deputation shall ordinarily not exceed 3 years.
