In the interest of public service read with the decision under Agenda No.9 of the Council of Ministers in its meeting held on 8th February 2017 and in exercise of the power conferred by proviso to Article to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Mizoram is pleased to make the following Rules to amend the ‘Mizoram Aided Schools Employees (Death - cum-Retirement Gratuity) Rules, 1990’ issued under Notification No.G.19081/1/81-EDN dated 18.1.1990 as follows, namelyShort title and (1)These Rules may be called the “Mizoram Aided Schools Empoyees” commencement (Death-cum- Retirement Gratuity) (Amendment) Rules, 2017. (2)It shall come into force the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. Amendment of In Rule 6 of the Mizoram Aided School (Death-cum-Gratuity) Rules, 1990 :- Rule 6 (a)In clause (a) of sub-rule (1), the word and figure “Rs. 50,000/-” shall be substituted by the word and figure “Rs. 1,00,000/-”. (b)In the proviso to clause (b) of sub-rule (1), the word and figure “Rs. 50,000/-”shall be substituted by the word and figure “Rs.1,00,000/-”.
