(2)They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. In the Principal Rules, entries under column 3, 4, & 12 of the Annexure in respect to the post of Joint Director, the following shall be substituted as follows: (i) Column 2-No. of post: 2(two) or as may be sanctioned from time to time. (ii) Column 4-Pay Band and Grade Pay/Scale of Pay: PB-3 `15600-39100+`7600/- (iii) Column 12-Promotion: From Deputy Director having not less than 5(five) years regular service in the grade. No person- (a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or (b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any other person shall be eligible for appointment to the said post(s); 1. Every Government servant recruited under these rules shall undergo such training or pass such Departmental Examination(s) as may be prescribed from time to time. Notwithstanding anything contained in these rules, the Governor of Mizoram, in public interest, shall have power to transfer any officer so recruited under these rules to any other post or position which is equivalent in rank or grade. Where the Governor is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, he may, by order and for reasons to be recorded in wiriting, and in consultation with the Mizoram Public Service Commission through the Department of Personnel & Administrative Reforms, relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class or category of persons. Nothing in these rules shall affect any reservation relaxation of age limit and other concessions required to be pr ovided for the Scheduled Caste/the Scheduled Tribes and other categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government or the Government of Mizoram from time to time in this regard. (2)They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. These rules shall apply to the posts specified in column 1 of the Schedule annexed to these rules. The number of the said post(s), their classification, pay band and grade pay/pay scale attached thereto shall be as specified in columns 2 to 4 of the Schedule aforesaid. The method of recruitment, to the said post age limit, qualification and other matters relating thereto shall be as specified in columns 5 to 14 of the said Schedule. Provided that the upper age limit prescribed for direct recruitment may be relaxed in the case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes/the Scheduled Tribes and other special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government or the Government of Mizoram, as the case may be fr om time to t ime. No person- (a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or (b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any other person shall be eligible for appointment to the said post(s); 1. Disqualification- 2 Provided that the Governor may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for doing so, exempt any such person from the operation of this rule. Every Government servant recruited under these rules shall undergo such training or pass such Departmental Examination(s) as may be prescribed from time to time. Notwithstanding anything contained in these rules, the Governor of Mizoram, in public interest, shall have power to transfer any officer(s) so recruited under these rules to any other post or position which is equivalent in rank or grade. Where the Governor is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, he may, by order and for reasons to be recorded in wiriting, and in consultation with the Mizoram Public Service Commission through the Department of Personnel & Administrative Reforms, relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class or category of persons. Nothing in these rules shall affect reser vation relaxation of age limit and other concessions required to be provided for the Scheduled Caste/the S chedu led Tribes and other categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government or the Government of Mizoram from time to time in this regard.
