Pu L althanliana, S /o Lungruala, Bungkawn Tlangveng was born on 7th June, 1960. He was Diploma in Electrical Engineer. He entered into Government Service on 13.6.1984 as Junior Engineer-II (Elect), Electr ical Maintenance Division, Aizawl, and promoted to Junior Engineer (Elect), Electrical Maintenance Division, Aizawl on 9.4.1985 . He was again promoted to Assistant Engineer/Sub-Divisional Officer (Elect) on 28.11.2005 and posted a t Electr ical Inspectorate, Zuangtui and then posted as Project Officer, ZEDA and as Assista nt Engineer (Elect), office of Engineer-in-Chief and now he is holding the post of Sub-D ivisional Officer, Champhai Power Sub-Division, Champhai till he br eathed his last. He served the Government of Mizoram with utmost sincerity and devotion to duty and endear ed himself to the Officers and Staff and alwa ys proved himself as conscientious and har d working officer. (2) This Regulations sha ll extend to the whole States of Manipur and Mizoram and shall apply in relation to all matters fa lling within the jurisdiction of the Commission. (3) These Regulations shall come int o force with effect from 1st April, 2017. 2 . Amendment in Definitions and Interpretations of the Principal Regulations: Clause (18) and (22) of the Definitions a nd Interpretations of the Principal Regulations shall be substituted as below: (18) The words “ Power Fa ctor of 0.85” appearing on the third last line sha ll be substituted with the words “Power Factor of 0.90” (22) The words “Power Factor of 0.85” appearing on the last line shall be substituted with the words “Power Factor of 0.90” 3 . T he Government of Mizor am has learnt with deep sorrow the sad and untimely demise of Pu K. Dokunga, Assistant Commandant on 13th October, 2016. Born on 20th October, 1957, Pu K. Dokunga joined Government service a s Constable of Police on 1st June, 1977. He was promoted to Lance Naik on 02.03.1988 and on 13.05.1988 to Naik. On 26.04.1989 he was promoted to Havildar, on 21.4.1995 to Sub-Inspector and on 02.05.2003 to Inspector. He was then promoted to Junior Grade of Mizora m Police Service on 16th June, 2014. He served the Mizoram Police in various capacities with utmost sincerity and devotion to duty a nd endeared himself t o the officers and staff and always proved himself to be a conscientious and har d working officer. He was posted as Assistant Commandant, 1st IR. Bn. on 16th December, 2014; and on 22nd June, 2015 he was transferred to 3rd MAP Bn. and held this post till he breathed his last. The Government of M izoram places on record its appreciation of t he sincere services rendered by Pu K. Dokunga a nd conveys its heartfelt sympa thy and condolence to the bereaved f a mi ly. No. NE-313(MZ) 2006-2008VOL - XLV Aizawl, Wednesday 19.10.2016 Asvina 27, S.E. 1938, Issue No. 417 NOTIFICATIONNo. H. 20013/04/13-JERC, the 17th October, 2016.In exercise of powers conferred under Section 50 read with Clause (x) of Sub-section (2) of Section 181 of the Electricity Act, 2003 (36 of 2003), and all other power s enabling it in this behalf, the Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission for Manipur & Mizoram hereby makes the following Regula tions t o amend the Joint Electricity Regula tory Commission for Manipur & Mizoram (Electricity Supply Code) Regulations, 2013 (hereinafter referred to as “the Principal Regulations”), namely; 1.Short title and commencement (1) This Regulations ma y be ca lled the Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission for Manipur and Mizoram (Electricity Supply Code) (Sixth Amendment) Regulations, 2016. (2) This Regulations sha ll extend to the whole States of Manipur and Mizoram and shall apply in relation to all matters fa lling within the jurisdiction of the Commission. (3) This Regulations sha ll come into force from the date of their notifications in the Official Gazette of t he concerned Sta tes. 2 . Amendment in Regulation 6 of the Pr incipal Regulations: Clause 6.28 of the Principal Regulations shall be substituted as below: Billing in case of excess load 6.28 In cases where MDI is installed the assessment of billing of fixed charge shall be made as per the provisions of the Tar iff order. In cases where no MDI is installed, the fixed charge for excess load shall be billed at two times the rate applicable in the tar iff order. The excess load shall be computed as below: (1) In domestic category, 50% of the differ ence between the actual connected load and the cont racted load; (2) In commercia l category, 75% of the difference between the actual connected load and the contract ed load; and (3) In other cases difference b etween the actual connected load and the contracted load. - 2 - Ex-417/2016 Provided tha t the enhancement of load shall be ca rried out in line with clause 4.94 – 4.100.
