FUNCTIONS AND TERMS OF REFERENCE OF THE LAND COMMITTEE :
1. The Land Committee will be the Screening Board in the matter of application for allotment of land for agricultural and non-agricultural purposes and renewal of temporary allotment of land except the land surveyed for regularization of unauthorised land holdings under section 17 (A) of MLR Act, 2013 and for renewal of temporary allotment of land.
2. The Committee shall sit at least twice in a year or as may be required and T.A. shall be given to the members of the Committee if the place of its sitting is more than 8 (eight) kilometre from the headquarters of the member. The Secretary, Land Committee shall issue Meeting Notice in consultation with the Chairman by giving at least 10 (ten) days in advance to the members of Land Committee.

Whereas he stated that his name was written as Nor Bah Basnet at the time of recruitment as per his service record.
Whereas he further stated that he wrote his full name as Nar Bahadur Basnet in his Vote’s ID, Birth Certificate, etc.
Whereas after considering the case it was satisfied that no foul play is involved in his application.
Now, therefore, the permission is granted to change his name to Nar Bahadur Basnet in his service record.

In pursuance of General Administration Department’s Notification No. A.60011/20/2019-GAD dated 09.08.2019 and in the interest of public service, the Governor of Mizoram is pleased to notify the relocation of the villages of Zote South and Kanghmun South from the administrative jurisdiction of the District Cooperative Officer, Lunglei District to the administrative jurisdiction of the District Cooperative Officer, Serchhip District with immediate effect and until further order.
