issued  by  State Election Commission under sub-rule (5) of Rule 7 read with sub-rule (1) of Rule 151 and

etc) Rules, 2002, as amended in 2012,  General  Election was held for the purpose of constituting  a  new

WHEREAS,  the result of the election in respect of 20 (twenty) Constituencies in the said
General Election has been declared by the Returning Officer on 11 th   & 19 th   May, 2023.
NOW, THEREFORE,  the  Returning  Officer,  General    Election    to  Chakma  Autonomous
District Council, 2023 hereby notifies the names of the members elected in respect of the said Chakma
Autonomous District Council, along with their party affiliation.

No.J.21011/7/2022-TAX/Pt, the 18 th  May, 2023. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule
(4) of rule 48 of the Mizoram Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017, the Governor of Mizoram, on the
recommendations of the Council, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of
the Government of Mizoram, Taxation Department, No. 13/2020 - State Tax, dated the 5 th May, 2020,
issued vide No.J.21011/2/2020 (f) -TAX, namely: -
In the said notification, in the first paragraph, with effect from the 1 st  day of August, 2023, for
the words “ten crore rupees”, the words “five crore rupees” shall be substituted.

the Representation of the People Act, 1950 (43 of 1950), the Election Commission of India in consultation
with the Government of Mizoram hereby designates Shri Madhup Vyas, IAS, (AGMUT:2000) as the
Chief Electoral Officer for the State of Mizoram with effect from the date he takes over charge and
until further orders in place of Shri P. Jawahar, IAS.
2. Shri Madhup Vyas shall cease to hold and hand over forthwith the charge of all or any charges
of work under the Government of Mizoram, which he may be holding before such assumption of office.
3. Shri Madhup Vyas while functioning as the Chief Electoral Officer, Mizoram shall not hold any
additional charge whatsoever under the Government of Mizoram except that he should be designated
