constitute a new District Council of the Chakma Autonomous District namely, 11th Chakma Autonomous
District Council, on expiry of the term of the 10th Chakma Autonomous District Council, and on the

District Council to meet for the first time at 10:30 A.M. on 26.05.2023 in the Chakma Autonomous
District Council Session Hall at Kamalanagar, and also pleased to order that a special business shall be
transacted, inter-alia, on the said Session, namely, ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN, for which the following
dates are fixed :

1.  Short title and commencement.-
  1)  These  regulations  may  be  called  the  Mizoram  Civil  Service  (Appointment  by  Induction) 
Regulations, 2023.
  2)  They shall come into force with effect from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
2.  Definitions.-
  1)  In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires,
    a)  “Induction” means the selection conducted by the Commission for recruitment to the Junior 
Grade of Mizoram Civil Service under these Regulations;
    b)  “Vacancy” means vacancy (ies) to the Junior Grade of Mizoram Civil Service which to be 
filled by promotion on the basis of induction;
  2)  All other words and expressions used in these regulations and not defined shall have the same 
meanings respectively assigned to them in the Mizoram Civil Service Rules, 2022 as amended

by sworn statement against the police personnel for serious misconduct and perform such other functions
as stipulated  in  Chapter XII  of  the  Mizoram  Police Act,  2011  and  (2) at  the  District  Level  Police
Complaints  Authority  (to  be  named  as  District-Level  Police  Accountability  Authority)  to  receive
complaints of serious misconducts and misconducts against police personnel, as defined in section 108
of the Mizoram Police Act, 2011 and take further action as proved in Chapter XII of the Act.
1. State Level Police Complaints Accountability Commission:
The State Level Police Complaints Accountability Commission shall inquire into public complaints
