Disqualification- (b) Who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person shall be eligible for appointment to the said post(s); Provided that the Governor may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and to the other party to the marriage and that there are other valid grounds for doing so, exempt any such person from the operation of these Rules. Every Government servant recruited under these Rules shall undergo such training or pass such Departmental Examination as may be prescribed from time to time. Notwithstanding anything contained in these Rules, the Governor of Mizora m, in public interest, shall have the right and power to transfer any officers, so recruited under these Rules to any other post or position which is equivalent in rank or grade. Where the Governor is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient to do so, he may, by order and for reasons to be recorded in writing, in consulta- tion with the Mizoram Public Service Commission through the Department of Personnel & Administrative Reforms, relax any of the provisions of these Rules with respect to any class or category of persons. Nothing in these Rules shall affect any reservations, relaxation of age limit and other concessions required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes/ the Scheduled Tribes and other categories of persons in accordance with the order issued by Central Government or Government of Mizoram from time to time in this regard. All Rules pertaining to these posts framed by the Government of Mizoram notified vide No.A.12018/23/80-APT(B) dated 15.1.1982 and issued in the Mizoram Gazettee Extraordinary Issue No. 4A dated 18.01.1982 stands her eby r epealed with effect from the date of commencement of these Rules. Provided that any order made or anything done or any action taken under the Rules so repealed or under any general order ancillary thereto, shall be deemed to have been made, done or taken under the corresponding provisions of these Rules. Short title and commencement 2. Application 3. Number of posts, classification, and scale of pay/Pay Band & Grade pay 4. Method of recruitment, age limit, and other qualifica- tions. 5. Disqualification- (b) Who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person shall be eligible for appointment to the said post(s); Provided that the Governor may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal law applicable to such person and to the other party to the marriage and that there are other valid grounds for doing so, exempt any such person from the operation of these Rules. Every Government servant recruited under these Rules shall undergo such training or pass such Departmental Examination as may be prescribed from time to time. Notwithstanding anything contained in these Rules, the Governor of Mizora m, in public interest, shall have the right and power to transfer any officers, so recruited under these Rules to any other post or position which is equivalent in rank or grade. Where the Governor is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient to do so, he may, by order and for reasons to be recorded in writing, in consulta- tion with the Mizoram Public Service Commission through the Department of Personnel & Administrative Reforms, relax any of the provisions of these Rules with respect to any class or category of persons. Nothing in these Rules shall affect any reservations, relaxation of age limit and other concessions required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes/ the Scheduled Tribes and other categories of persons in accordance with the order issued by Central Government or Government of Mizoram from time to time in this regard. All Rules pertaining to these posts framed by the Government of Mizoram notified vide No.A.12018/23/80-APT(B) dated 15.1.1982 and issued in the Mizoram Gazettee Extraordinary Issue No. 4A dated 18.01.1982 stands her eby r epealed with effect from the date of commencement of these Rules. Lalnunmawia s/o Pu C.Seikunga born on 16.11.1968 entered into Govern- ment Service on 22.01.1997 as Asst. Divisional Accountant under Finance Department and was posted at Khawzawl Electrical Division, P&E. He was then transferred and posted at Power Project Division, P&E, Champhai w.e.f. 13.8.2001. He was then promoted to Divi- sional Accountant on 23.1.2014 and posted at Project Construction Division, P&E, S.Khawbung and he was later transferred and posted at P&E Project Division, Champhai w.e.f. 11.3.2015 t ill he breathed his last. He served the Government of Mizoram with utmost sincerity and devotion to duty proving himself an efficient officer. The Government of Mizoram, Finance Department deeply mourns his death and place on record its appreciation of the sincere service rendered by Pu S.C.
