Whereas it is expedient to further amend the Mizoram(Appointment, duties, fees etc of Govt. Advocates) Rules, 1995 (herein referred to as the Principal Rules) so as to make the Rules more effective in its implementation, the Governor of Mizoram is pleased to make the following rules, namely :- Short tit le and1.(1)Thes e rules may be called the Mizor am (Appoint ment, duties, fees commencementetc. of Government Advocates) (Amendment) Rules, 2014. (2)They shall come into for ce at once. Amendment of2.In Rule 3 of the Principal Rules, after sub-rule (2), a new sub rule Rule 3(3) shall be added, namely - “(3) all appointments of Government Advocates/Public Prosecutors are to be co-terminus with the Appointing Ministry.” Amendment of3.Rule 13 of the Principal Rules shall be substituted by the following namely :- Rule 13 “ Services of Govt. Advocates/Public Prosecutors may be terminated by giving one month’s notice before proceeding on termination without assigning any reason thereof by the Government. Likewise, Government Advocates/Public Pr osecutor s may submit resignation to the Government after giving one month’s notice prior to their proceeding on resignation.” P. T hankima College at 3:30 AM on the 30th July, 2014 at Civil Hospital, Aizawl. Pi Zomuansangi Varte D/o Dr. V. Liansanga (L) was born on 14th May, 1977. She joined her service as Lecturer under J. Thankima College on 26.05.2006 while the College was under deficit status. Later, she successfu lly qua lified the National Eligibilit y Test (NET) during 2011 and she was pr omoted to Assistant Professor (Stage-2) with effect from 26. 05.2012. She served the Government of M izoram with utmost sincerity and devotion to duty and endeared herself to the Officers a nd Staff and a lways pr oved herself a s conscientious and hard wor king Lect urer. NOTIFICATION No.K.12011/67/2014-REV, the 24th July, 2014.Wher eas by the Government Notifica tion No.K.12011/67/2014-REV dt. 29.1.2014 published in the official Gazzette and two daily newspapers, it was notified under section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (Central) Act 1 of 1894 (hereinafter referred to as the “said Act”) that the land specified in the schedule appended to the said Notification was likely to be needed for the pur pose na mely - Acquisition of Land for construction of bypass roa d by upgrading the existing Sairang to Lengte PMGSY r oad by PWD. 2.Now, therefore, the Government declares under section 6 of the said Act that the said land is required for the public purpose specified above and as per scheduled indicated below. 3.The Government now appoints the Deputy Commissioner, Aizawl under clause (C) of s ection 3 of the said Act to perform the funct ions of a Collector for all p roceedings hereinafter to be taken in respect of the said land and directs him under section 7 of the said Act to take order for the acquisition of the said land. 4.The Collect or shall there upon ca use the land to be measured and make a plan of the same under Section 8 of the sa id Act if not already done as per section 4 of the said Act, and dispose of all object ions and claims after ca using a public notice for not less than 15 days to the persons int erested stating the Government’s intention of taking over the possession of the sa id land as per section 9 of t he said Act. T hen, the Collect or shall submit a Dra ft Awar d to the Government of Mizora m after fulfilling the provisions under section 11 of the said Act read with Mizoram La nd Acquisition Rules 2010. 5.A plan of the same can be inspected at the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Aizawl till the final awar d is made under section 11 of the said Act.
