with  profound grief  and sorrow the sad and  untimely  demise of Pu C. Lalremsiama  s/o C.
Lianhmingthanga (L), Joint Director, Horticulture Department, Government of Mizoram on 8th
April, 2023 at around 12:30 pm.
Pu C. Lalremsiama entered Mizoram Government Service as Instructor, ITC, Hnahthial
on 24.09.1986. He was transferred to the post of Agriculture Extension Officer, Thingsai on
04.12.1991. He was promoted to Assistant Divisional Horticulture Officer, and was posted at
Khawzawl Division  on 01.05.2000. On 16.08.2005, he was transferred and posted as  Sub-
Divisional Horticulture Officer, Champhai. He joined the post on 30.10.2005.
He was transferred to Assistant Divisional Horticulture Officer, Lunglei and he joined
the post on 11.02.2015. He was promoted to Divisional Horticulture Officer and was posted as
DHO, Kolasib on 13.08.2018. He was transferred to Aizawl as DHO on 01.01.2021. He was
then promoted to Junior Administrative Grade of Mizoram Horticulture Service on 08.07.2022
and was posted as Joint Director, Directorate of Horticulture, and held the post till he passed
away. He served the Government with sincerity and devotion to duty, and endeared himself to
all his colleagues. He proved himself to be a totally conscientious officer.
