As envisaged in the implementation strategy of Mizoram State Action Plan on Climate Change (2012-2017), and with a view to promote coordination of climate change activities and programs in the State as well as carry forward the plans and targets approved by the State Climate Change Council/Executive Council in a coordinated and time bound manner, the Governor of Mizoram is pleased to constitute Climate Change Coordination Group (CCCG) consisting of the following members with immediate effect and until further orders:-

Climate Change
The duties of the Climate Change Coordination Group shall be as follows :1.Collate/
Consolidate base line data on climate change of the State.
2.Revise State Action Plan on Climate Cha nge (SAPCC)
3.Coor dinate project preparation by the line departments through r espective Nodal Officers on action
plans approved by State Climate Change Council/Executive Council.

5.Upda te State Climate Change Council/Executive Council the progress of project implementation on
climate change by line departments.
6.Orga nize Meetings of State Clima te Change Council/Executive Council on Climate Cha nge.
7.Any other duties assigned by Climate Change Council/Executive Council on Climate Change/Chairman,
Climate Change Coordination Gr oup.
The Department associated with climate change programs: but not included as members of
the Coordina tion Group may be invit ed as co-opted members whenever necessary.
The Chairma n of the Coordination Group may co-opt any person from any department such as
Finance, Rural Development, ICAR, AH & Veterinary, Law & Judicial, Forest:}, Universities, Financial
institutions (public & private sector banks), insurance companies, NGOs etc. located within Aizawl
District as and when necessary.
